Membership Renewal

Membership Renewal Process

Starting with the 2017 renewal season, renewal reminder notices will be sent to members via USPS mail.  You will receive only one notification.  The renewal deadline is December 31st, and there will be no extensions or exceptions.  Renewal processing may take four to six weeks until you receive your new badge strip via USPS mail, depending on the backlog at the time you submit your application.  Hint:  Earlier is better.

Please take careful note of the NEW REQUIREMENT, as described below.  Thank you!

Renewal is easy.  First, complete the application form.  Simply download the application form, and complete it by (a) filling in the interactive form fields using a recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, or (b) printing the form and filling it out by hand.  Return the completed and signed form to the club by (a) soft-copy via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. or (b) hard-copy via USPS mail.

NOTICE: The online payment portal will only accept renewal payments during the period between the September Members Meeting and December 31st of each year.

Second, make your payment.  You may submit your payment by (a) online via our secure PayPal online payment portal for the amount of your dues, based on your type of membership and any optional work hours discount (a $5 processing fee is added to cover the transaction cost), (b) via USPS mail, enclosing a check for the amount of your renewal, based on your type of membership and any optional work hours discount, (c) in cash or by credit card (a $5 processing fee is added to cover the transaction cost) at the October, November or December Members Meetings.

If you choose to email your completed form, you must also submit your payment via the secure PayPal online payment portal.  Online renewal is easy for you and efficient for the club.

You may optionally bring the hard-copy completed and signed form with a check for the amount of your type of membership and any optional work hours discount to the October, November or December Members Meeting, at the clubhouse. (See our online calendar for the meeting schedule.)

RENEWAL MEMBERS:  The Application Fee is not required.   Renewal Membership fees are as follows:

  • Single/Family $150 (new rate for 2018)
  • Senior $75
  • Student $65
  • Military $0
  • WORK HOURS DISCOUNT FOR RENEWING MEMBERS ONLY:
Renewing members may earn a credit on their renewal by helping with some organized and supervised maintenance jobs on the grounds or helping to set up, run, or clean-up after an event.   There are always plenty of opportunities to earn this work hour discount, just ask! If regular full dues paying members have documented that they have performed a minimum of eight "work hours" in the previous year, and they submit the required documentation on time, then they have earned a $40 discount upon renewal (note that you must perform at least 8 hours of work to earn this credit as partial credit is not allowed).   Members on our Student or Senior plans are also eligible to earn a maximum of a $20 discount by working a minimum of four work hours of volunteer work during the previous year when they renew their membership if they have documented their work.
  • TEENS / STUDENTS:   At the end of the calendar year in which a teen "family member" turns 18, they must buy their own membership for the following calendar year.   No "New Member" application fee is required from teens who convert from under a family plan to their own membership. If the 18 year old is still a full time student in high school or college, the lower student rate of $65 per year applies.   Like all members, students can leverage the Work Hours Discount mentioned above to reduce costs.
  • ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY: Current members or Associate Members that enlist in active military service will remain as members in good standing and will not be required to pay annual dues until they are released from active service. This affects current members of the CRGC that are on active duty. This prevents you from having to pay membership fees while you are on active duty defending our freedoms. If you are on active duty, please indicate this option on your renewal form and provide proof of continuing active duty status by submitting a copy of one of the following:
-- Active military ID card with expiration date (cover the digital code)
-- A copy of your current active duty orders
-- A signed statement from your current commander on military letterhead

ATTENTION: ALL CURRENT CRGC MEMBERS

Please read this carefully as it could affect your membership!

NEW REQUIREMENT: Effective September 1, 2017, all members of the club must show satisfactory documentary evidence that they are not legally probibited from owning firearms, on a one-time basis, prior to December 31, 2018. This documentaion is viewed, but not retained, by a staff member, prior to completing renewal processing. The acceptable forms of documentation are:

(1) a current, unexpired State or Federally issued firearms license,
(2) a NFA Tax Stamp,
(3) a NH armed security guard license,

(6) a State Police background check from the applicant’s State of residence,
(7) a signed and notarized affidavit certifying that the applicant is not prohibited from owning or using firearms (this document will be retained).

Membership renewals are accepted starting in October. This will give you three months to pay your dues.

Please make sure you have turned in your credit slips for your work hours. You will not get credit for work hours if you did not turn in your slips.

PER THE CRGC BY-LAWS YOUR RENEWAL IS DUE BY THE DECEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING IN PERSON (OR RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 31ST BY USPS MAIL OR BY EMAIL) OR YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL LAPSE. THERE WILL BE NO GRACE PERIOD FOR RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

IF YOU LET YOUR MEMBERSHIP LAPSE YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-JOIN AS A NEW MEMBER, PAY THE APPLICATION FEE, GO THROUGH ORIENTATION, ATTEND THE SAFETY CLASS, RE-QUALIFY FOR THE INDOOR SHOOTING AND ARCHERY RANGE, ACTION SHOOTING AND THE MEMBER’S CLAY TRAP.

We want to thank all of you for working with us on this matter.
