Hand Gun: Verified 4 Member must demonstrate firing the firearm: Stationary Test - Distance 10 yards (30’) 5 of 15 shots must hit in the “A zone” with 1 manufactured malfunction (snap cap) & able to show firearm clear when completed.All 15 shots must all be on paper. Movement test – Distance 10 yards 3 hits on steel, move with mag change, 3 hits on steel. If firing is complete, firearm must be holstered, flagged or bagged correctly. Hand Gun: Verified 5 Member must understand in the Action Shooting Ranges: Location of target placement, types of targets and initial shot placement. Cleaning / Picking up area before leaving. Notifying AS committee of any damage found. Hand Gun: Verified 6 Instruct members on the rules that must be used when shooting in the Action Shooting Ranges. Hand Gun: Verified 7 Written test completed and scored 90% or greater, Review all incorrect answers. The member is authorized to use the Action Shooting Ranges with a HAND GUN and given an "AS1" sticker to place on their CRGC membership badge.
