Special Election - Open Financial Secretary Position Election to be Held on August 18, 2025
CRGC is looking for interested Members to fill one open Board of Directors position.
Description of the Financial Secretary Position
FINANCIAL SECRETARY: The Financial Secretary shall receive and record all dues and payments. All money received shall be turned over to the Treasurer. The Financial Secretary shall be the Chair of the standing Budget Committee.
Fulfilling the requirements of this Executive Board Position requires attendance at monthly Board of Directors Meetings, monthly Members Meetings and managing routine revenue and expense processing which requires an average of about four hours a week.

Below are the guidelines from our Constitution regarding Elections:
ELECTIONS
Section I:

- Three Board of Directors, members at large, shall be elected each year to serve for three years. All candidates for Board of Directors office must have been a voting member the year prior to running for office. However, relatives (as defined in C, above) may not serve on the Board of Directors and/or Executive Board at the same time.
- All officers and Board of Directors shall assume their duties on January 1 of the new year following the annual meeting. Any Officer or Board Member elected via special election, shall assume their duties immediately upon being elected.
- All members elected or appointed as an Officer or Director shall attend respective meetings on a regular basis. An Officer or Director may be removed from office by a motion approved at a membership meeting if their attendance at CRGC Constitution and Bylaws Revised 3/21/2022 Page 16 of 18 respective meetings is less than 50% or three (3) consecutive months of non-attendance, subject to Board discretion.

The cut-off date for eMail self-nominations is the close of business on Friday, May 17th, 2024 to allow time to make up the ballot.
Additional self-nominations may be made from the floor before the vote is conducted on Monday, May 20th, 2024.
