I live with my wife and daughter in Exeter. We moved here almost six years ago from New Jersey, and have been members here at Chester for nearly five years. I am a programmer/analyst for Fidelity Information Systems in Salem, and write/maintain trading + regulatory compliance software used by brokerage firms. I enjoy all the shooting sports, but spend most of my time at the club shooting at clay targets. I also love plowing through ammo on the pistol plate racks.
I am running for the Chester Rod & Gun Board for several reasons. First of all, I value this club and the friendships I have made here and would like to do my part to help keep it running well, and building for the future. Secondly, I would like to round out the representation of shooting disciplines on the Board, since there are no clay shooters currently on it. An understanding of all the disciplines is fundamental to making informed decisions to improve the club. I believe that the Board has been making great strides to improve the level of communication with membership, and hope to take part in continuing that process. I believe that I am a fair-minded individual and will be able to represent everyone's interests, from the casual weekend shooter or hunter zeroing their rifle, to the members who shoot one or more disciplines.
